Hello. I have a photoshop document with a video timeline. I imported the file into after effects and everything seems fine except that the animation is about 60 times longer in after effects than in photoshop. for example a frame with a duration of 20 frames in photoshop will be 1200 frames in after effects. Both documents are set to the same frame rate and resolution. How do I fix this? Thanks.

Take a look at your AE's Preferences. Specifically Preferences>Import. Take a look at Still Footage and Sequence Footage fps settings.

You may want to look at http://www.schoolofmotion.com/photoshop-animation-series-part-1/
