What is the best RAID Block Size for After Effects Cache Disk?

My name is Daniel and his is my first post in nearly 10 years!
I have a Mac Pro (2013) and I just bought 2 256 GB Samsung Pro SSDs and two USB 3.0 External enclosures. Set them up in RAID0. One one each USB 3.0 Enclosure. But When I did a speed (Using the Black Magic Disk Speed Test Tool) they ra at about at 350MB/s. I tried it on my Mac Book Pro and they ran at the desired and expected 650+ MB/s. Come to find out that my Mac pro USB3.0 maxes out at about 350 MB/s. Let me rephrase that: Are the USB 3.0 inputs on the Mac Pro (2013) capped?
So I grabbed a Lacie SSD Thunderbolt enclosure (The Rugged Orange looking one) and replaced the old drive inside with one of the new Samsung Pro that I bought. Now I have one SSD in the USB3.0 enclosure and the other in the Lacie Rugged thunderbolt enclosure. Does that make sense?
I set them up again in RADI 0 and it worked! Now I get the expected 650MB/s on my Mac Pro (2013).
Is this set up ok, or are there any concerns I should I have?
What is the ideal Block Size for After Effects to write and read those cache files?
