After Effects - Scaling Text Question
on Aug 10, 2015 at 5:33:01 pm

Hey guys, really simple question.

I currently have some font on a 1080p composition. I need to make the font 4k (3840x2160). If I make the comp 3840x2160 and scale the font by 200%, will I lose resolution (will it truly be 4k?). Doubling the font size is making the position all wonky so I dont want to do it that way.

Thanks, Fraser

Text layers in AE are in vector, and you can scale them as much as you want. Don't try this trick with any text you import. Use AE text layers.
