Can H.264 encode my video to 20fps? There are options for 10, 12, 12.5, 15, 23.976, 24, 29.97, 30 etc but no 20! Not possible?

If not, how best to encode my video for youtube? I only have a camera that can shoot at 20 fps you see.

H.264 only works with a specified set of horizontal & vertical image resolutions and frame rates... and 20 isn't one of them.

Personally. I'd go with 30. It would be the least offensive. Don't try to use any resolutions other than the standard ones --1280x720 and 1920x1080 are the most common.

And I have to tell you -- I've never heard of a camera that shootss at 20 fps. That's a new one on me.

Great thanks a lot.

Yes it's bizarre isn't it, it's an old canon 500d, it can shoot 720p@30fps or 1080p@20fps. Decided to reduce to 720p.
