I've got an animation of a ton of particles coming out of a box. I'd like to keep the effect of hundreds of particles coming out of the box, but replace the uniform particles with 11 specific shapes. What's my best bet?

For my last go I brought the first shape into the project, laid it into my comp, pre-composed it and turned it’s visibility off. Went back to my particle world layer and set your particle type to “Textured QuadPolygon” then set my texture layer to the pre-comp containing the first shape. I then repeated this for the second, third, fourth, etc shape. wondering if there's a cleaner way of going about this.
