It takes a lot of time to render a video with many effects and layers on a frame. I rendered a video which almost took 18 hours to render. After viewing the video i found some small corrections in it (eg. year displayed was wrong.). i changed it in the project. Now do i have to render the entire video for 18 hours again? Please reply me asap. Thankyou!

Yes. You must re-render. This is why people check complicated projects VERY carefully before they render.

Or you can simply use the Work Area. Find where the muistake begins and ends, then set your Work Area to render only that part. You'll have to cut the new file into the old one, so frame-accuracy is important.

everyone should render in an image sequence, for a 4 day render, who wants to redo all that?

Also, if you rendered out in a high end video codec, you can edit them together or even mux them(index frame combine) if you have the right software so there's no image loss.
