Note that in addition to the off-screen tab comp list accessible at the right of the tabs, you can sort of scroll through the timeline tabs with the scroll wheel. Position the cursor over the tabs and scroll; Ae will switch to the previous or next comp. There's also a keyboard shortcut for this: Alt+Shift+Comma and Alt+Shift+Period.

Thank you Walter. That was helpful!
I didn't know about the scroll option. It makes the whole thing a little easier.
Although it's NO match for the previous versions.
The horizontal size of the scroll handle was an excellent and intuitive indicator to always let me know "where I am".
And above all it was VERY FAST!
In my opinion this was an extremely unnecessary new feature just to save 5 pixels vertical space.
I just checked and noticed they made the same change in PP
What were they thinking? Does anyone know what the purpose of changing this perfectly working feature was?
Maybe there's something really great about it and I'm just missing it ; )
