 | Motion Blur vs Add Grain effect
on Jun 30, 2015 at 4:58:45 pm |
I'm working on a project where some still-images are composited into moving footage. To make the images match the source footage, I added the Add Grain effect and used Motion Blur.
Now the Motion Blur also applies to the Add Grain (as it does to all effects on the layer). I obviously don't want that since grain/noise is a film/sensor thing and not in the scene itself.
Is there a way to leave the grain untouched by Motion Blur? Am I missing something here?
Thanks!

add the grain effect to an adjustment layer above the the layer with the motion blur.
Problem solved :)
