Hey Guys,

This has been bugging me for some time and looking for an answer as I can't seem to find one!

When working on a Project with a lot of Compositions, I sometimes want to collect maybe 1 or 2 from the project I'm working on to take across to another project.

They way is normal do this is using the Collect File... system in the File drop down menu.

This always works for me, but! It brings along all of the comps and folder I have been working on, but all i really need is the 1 or 2 that i like.

Is there away to export or collect a single comp with all the assets to a new project?

Hope that made sense and someone out there has the answer!

E

Select the comp, then File > Dependencies > Reduce project. Ae will eliminate everything not needed for your selection.

Of course, you may want to save a copy of your un-reduced project first, or increment and save immediately after reducing.
