Hey guys, I'm trying to make a spot light follow a null object but it doesn't work. I copied the position of the object to the light, I parented the light to the object but when the animation of the object starts, the light goes the other way.
Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Can you post your file? That will help to see the specific issue, as that shouldn't be happening.

Do you have any expressions happening which could cause it? Is the null set to 3D?

Jordan Q
If I'm posting a question, it means I've Googled it for far too long and couldn't find a solution/answer.

[Chris Ady] " I copied the position of the object to the light"

A spot light has a point of interest. If you copied your layer's position to the light's position, it would mean that when your layer moves, your light will move and rotate towards its point of interest thus seeming to go the other way.

[Chris Ady] " I parented the light to the object but..."

Did you do both? or did you tried each? Parenting alone should work.

Yes, did them both.
Tried to copy and parent, then parent alone, didn't work.
