Create a camera with camera tracker, keep the layer 3d planes fit as a 2D

Hello,

I am facing a problem, I want to create a camera tracker and a camera, but I want the layer planes to remain flat on screen while they are 3D objects . What I want to do is to make a transition with planes (pictures) from a flat 2D world to a 3D world. I will eventually moves the planes in the 3D world to have the perspective working.

But as soon I create a camera in the camera tracker, the planes move in the new 3D world and it tedious to place back the plane where they were before the camera and there's always a little distortions that make the planes imperfectly flat on screen.

I need a simpler way to do this. I almost got it working at some point, but I never figured out what I did.

You might try my script keen-3dLayerTools [link]. It has a feature which promotes a 2D layer to 3D, preserving its apparent size and position.
