Hello all - this is my first post, so please forgive any information that might be lacking below.

I am working on a bleed effect in which an emitter in Tracpcode Particular is following the circular path of a "stroke" effect that is continuously emitting auxiliary particles from its source particle. I am using the "Gravity" control to slowly pull down these particles, creating a very nice ink bleed effect - only problem is that I'd like the gravity to stop affecting previously emitted particles after it covers a certain amount of distance so it doesn't end up too blotchy by the end of the animation.

I am thinking that an expression is in order, but I have not been able to find a solution.

Thank you in advance for any help or alternate approaches that come to mind.

You might consider adjusting the Physics>Air>Air Resistance parameter.

Hello Michael,

Very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. While your suggestion did not exactly do what I was hoping for, it did give me another idea for how to accomplish what I was trying to do; hence, the delay.

Thank you for your time to answer my question!
