I have an image of a guitar pick which I want to animate along a circle path, and can only find tutorials to do this with text, which I'm unable to relate to an image.
Basically the pick will be be duplicated many times, but hidden behind one viewable at the start, through the animation the duplicated picks will rotate along a circle path to create the circle.
Hope that makes sense and thanks for any help

Here's the easiest way:

Find a spot for the center of rotation. Position a null at that spot. Put your image the desired distance away from the null, then parent it to the null. Rotate the null; you'll probably want to use the Auto Orient command on the image.

To make a bunch of images do that, duplicate the null& image a lot; you may have to re-parent each pair. Rotate the uulls until images are spaced properly. Then parent all those nulls to a new master null, positioned at the same center of rotation. When you rotate the master null, everything follows along.
