Hi guys,

I have a clip of a moving car which I rotoscoped. Now I want to rotoscope the environment of the same clip. Is there any way I can invert the rotoscoped part of the clip selecting the car to reverse it so taht only environment is rotoscoped now?

Thanks,
Ali

You can do this by using different mask modes like subtract. See more here: https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/alpha-channels-masks-mattes.htm...

Duplicate the clip and remove the rotoscope from the bottom clip, then set the bottom clips track matte to "alpha invert"
