I'm working on a project and I'm getting constant beach balls (Mac Tower, 64GB RAM, SSD cache)
I notice there's no activity on local drives or the network. Gobs or RAM is free. But AE is pegged at 100% CPU usage which tells me it's hanging on a single-threaded operation that's taking a long time. If it wasn't single-threaded, I'd see CPU usage in the hundreds or thousands.
I'm trying to narrow down where this problem is coming. Anyone know what AECC2014.2 operations are single-threaded?
