Feather mask edge blending alpha

Hi. I have this very particular problem.
Let's say I have a 50% opacity grid in the 3D environment of after effect. I'm shooting it with 2 different cameras, one for the left part and the other one for the right part. They are not shooting pixel accurate in between, because I want to edge blend them, so they are overlapping..
So, I have a ''scene comp'' with my grid and 2 cameras..
I have 2 sub comp, each one with one of the 2 cameras (linked with expression to the ''scene comp'')and the ''scene comp'' precomp in it..
I have a final comp that combine the 2 sub comp together..
The problem is that I want to use alpha. When I use alpha, the blend become brighter which is not the case if I have a black solid in my 2 sub comp..
