My company is looking to buy two new workstations. Wondering how much bang for the buck we'd get with spending the extra on the K6000 over the K5200? For PPro and AE will the K6000 make a huge difference? All thoughts appreciated.

Thanks!

Oh, none to speak of for AE. Neither card is necessary since AE went to the cloud -- C4D Lite supplanted the old way of ray tracing.

You'd get the best card for Premiere, not for AE.

So AE is more dependent on how much RAM I can throw at it while PPro will utilize the CUDA stuff on the GPU?

Correct, sir. Trick that baby out 16 Gigs RAM minimum, and as much as 64 Gigs.
