Hi all,

I'm relatively familiar with AE but thus far have only used it for effects and video. I'm experimenting with motion and animation and would like to find out more about how to create cartoony, flowy things, best demonstrated in this video with the little accent lines and stuff (first 10 seconds should provide a good idea).

Have been looking for a good tutorial but don't know what this is called, and have so far only found stuff on animating liquid blobs etc, which are cool but not really what I want. I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction or give some advice.

Thank you!

Ae Sweet [link] has some sort-of canned animations that may help here.

I think a lot of those accent elements could be created once with the methods that Rick described on the Adobe forums, animated in a precomp, and reused with only minor modifications.
