Upgraded to latest CC 2014. Still need to toggle between AE & PPro to unstick frozen AE sequence in PPro timeline (or close AE).

Should I be waiting for a follow up upgrade, or was this supposed to be the fix?

Apparently AE will report that you have the latest version when you don't. Go figure.
So go to the "About AE" menu selection and tell everybody precisely which version you have, down to the last decimal point.

AE CC 2014 - version is the latest version that I've downloaded and installed. My CC installer program indicates that I am up to date w/ that version of software.

Thanks Dave, for the clarifying suggestion.

BTW, I am still running OS 10.9.5. Might there be an advantage/improvement to move to Yosemite?
