Hello, I am beginner in After Effects so please advice.
The problem is that I noticed that my After Effects under "Edit-Preferences-General" item "Secret" which should be at the end there is not?
I have a problem with render and I sought help in various tutorials and in each I noticed there SECRET important items that will help troubleshoot renderovanim.V what is the problem that the item SECRET is not in my After Effects ??
Thank you very much for your help and advice.

The secret menu is, well, secret.

(You have to hold down the Shift key while clicking Edit > Preferences > General. Shhh.)

The secret menu was invaluable on AE CS4 and earlier, which were 32-bit and thus couldn't address large pools of memory, because the secret menu lets you force Ae to hold onto less RAM for caches, making it more of it available for rendering any single frame.

Now, with AE CS5 and higher being 64-bit, the secret menu may not hold the answers you seek anymore, and in fact, mucking with secret settings is most likely to just slow your renders down by forcing Ae to work less efficiently.

What's the actual problem you're having rendering? Maybe we can help.

Thank you very much for your quick response!
The problem is that the small projects rendered without any problem, but when venturing into a stronger project which requires a strong element 3D graphics, just block everything and jumps me the following message:
An application has requested more GPU memory than is available in the system.
-The Application will now be closed.
Error code: 6
Would you like to visit
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3553 for help?
Today I was on an official workshop check the graphics card and I got an answer
that they can not think that is the problem in graphics but somewhere in the (software or what?)
Now Absolute know what to do and how to solve this problem because this environment is difficult to find someone who could help me with that.
I want to emphasize that today are on my computer reinstalled the latest version of the GeForce drivers but nothing on the changed and improved.
My graphics card is:
GPU: GeForce GTS 450
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz
Memory: 8.00 GB RAM (useful 7.97 GB)
Driver Version: 344.75
Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium
It's about all I would like to have this time to write, and I am very sorry
that I annoy you my problem.
Thank you very much for your patience, help and support
Sincerely
Dara

It sounds like you are running out of VRAM (memory on the GPU), not RAM (memory attached to the CPU). The secret menu settings will not help here.

You might try turning down Element's Multisampling property; this will affect antialiasing but will lower the memory requirement of your scene.

If you have multiprocessing enabled, turn it off while working with Element; multiple render processes competing for GPU resources can hurt performance.
