I put a wiggle on a layer's fill so that its color changes rapidly. Its for a particle system. The only problem is i get too many black and white frames when i want colors. IS there a better expression, or a little extra expression that will tell the color fill to stay out of the black and white areas.

its just a wiggle. I did lower the wiggle amount, that helped and will work well enough if i don't get a definite answer.

You need to give us more information. Did you apply an effect to the layer, or is it a text layer? What is the layer's original color, how much of the color spectrum do you want to affect--1 channel, all 3 channels? And to Roland's query, exactly what expression did you apply to the fill?

[Richard Garabedain] "IS there a better expression, or a little extra expression that will tell the color fill to stay out of the black and white areas."

You almost get this for free by starting with the HSL (Hue/Saturation/Lightness) color model instead of RGB. You can convert between them [link] in your expression.

Vary the hue as much as you like; keep the saturation and lightness within ranges to limit blacks and whites.

I would add a wiggle expression to the hue setting in an HSL effect, not a fill.
