Hi All,

I have designed a multi-layer character who is facing to the left, and who's left arm layer (the arm on the left side of the screen that is) is ordered below the body layer so that the shoulder looks behind the body.

I want the character's arm to be able to move in front of her body at times (like when she claps her hands), and also be able to be in front of other layers such as her hair and face.

I have experimented with a second left arm layer that is in front of body and I have automated the opacity of the two left arm layers, but that momentarily puts the shoulder in front of the body, which does not look right.

What I want is the ability to have the shoulder remain behind the body, while being able to move the rest of the arm either in front or behind the body (and other layers) - just like what the Puppet Overlap Tool does with a single layer.

Any ideas out there?

Thanks so much in advance,
- Rich
