Hey guys (and girls),

I'm working on a project that is in pre-production. I'm in charge of the animatics, in which there is a lot of time remapping. To make a long story short, I'd like to know if it's possible to include in my AE renders, an overlay stating the actual speed of the remapping. For example, if there's no time remapping the overlay would be 100%. If 10 frames later, the speed doubles, the overlay would go from 100% to 200%. I need the speed to be precise, on each frame. I guess the way to go is using expressions, but which ones? Any help appreciated.

Create a new text layer, then alt+click its Source Text property and enter the following expression:

l = thisComp.layer("Time Remapped Layer");
percentage = l.timeRemap.speed*100;
percentage.toFixed(2) + "%"

Modify layer reference and precision as necessary.
