I am having severe problems with a day's worth of footage shot on a client's camera (which I had very little time to prepare with).
As you can see in the video at the bottom of the post, there are dark horizontal lines that move from the bottom of the screen to the top. From researching this seems to have been caused by the frame rate/shutter speed combination in relation to the frequency of the lights. FYI It was shot at 24 frames a second with a 60s shutter (unfortunately there was no 48s shutter on this camera).
Please can anyone tell me if there is any way to rectify this footage seamlessly in AE or any other software? Re-shooting is not something I want to consider, so I would entertain using any software or plug-ins to rectify this.
It would also be good to know the specifics about the footage: camera used, media container & codec, frame rate, horizontal-vertical resolution, lighting instruments, lighting conditions, AC frequency (50-60 Hz) etc.
