I have some old footage as ProRes 422 HQ that was transferred from Beta SP sources.

I need to edit some trailers for a website but the footage is a bit noisy. I need to both de-interlace and de-noise. Just not sure if the order in which these 2 steps are done matters in terms of producing the best end result. Anyone?

Also, which is better Magic Bullet Denoiser 2 or Neat Video's Denoiser?. Or if you know of any other product please let me know.

Thanks, Xavier

It is better to de-interlace first and then work on your picture after. The idea is you don't want to apply any kind of process that would affect the interlacing structure of your shot.

I use Denoiser 2 and I am happy with the result... but I hear that Neat Video is also a good option.

I agree- de-interlace first.
I use Neat Video and AE's own plugin - like both of them. However, Neat Video has more controls over the process.
