I am new to AE and I am trying to apply the same affect onto multiple clips. I have been sending my clip from Premiere Pro to After Effects by right clicking and pressing "replace with after affects composition." Its taking me a long time to do the exact same thing to multiple clips. is there a copy and paste option or something a little easier? Thanks

If you are just trying to apply the same effect to multiple layers, the easiest thing to do is to select the effect, copy, select the target layer, and paste.

Also, you can create an animation preset and apply that.

Or, you can use the Copy With Property Links command and then paste to the target layers if you want to maintain a connection between a master layer and several subordinate layers.

Since this is basic After Effects material, it seems that you might benefit from taking a step back and going through the basic learning materials:
