Picture looks washed out when using dynamic link
on Aug 15, 2014 at 7:27:59 pm

Hi,

I'm experimenting with some Raw footage from my 7D. I've graded the .DNGs in Resolve, rendered (QT:DNxHD 444), imported to Premiere and now want to do some effects. However, when I use dynamic link to get the shots into AE, the picture gets really washed out and all punch is lost, both in AE and in PRE..

Any ideas on this?`

Kind regards,

Johan

Kind Regards,

Johan

It could be that the gamma settings within quicktime itself aren't set right. You can change it when you have QT Pro open.

Hmm.. doesn't seem to be that.. If I export a .PNG directly from Premiere, that still will also look washed out... :(

Kind Regards,

Johan
