I have an object following a circular path. It seems to be working fine except it flips its axis when it reaches the midway point between the top and the bottom of the screen. I have set it up by copying a circular path to the position on a null object. The problem happens when I use auto orient along path. If I don't orient it along the path, then it doesn't flip its axis, but when I use orient along path it flips at the midway point. How can I stop this?
Thanks for the help.

Here's a nifty trick:
  • Create a null. Put it at the desired center of rotation.
  • Put your object at that same center of rotation, and parent it to the null.
  • Now move the object along one axis until it reaches the desired radius.
  • Finally, rotate the null in the desired axis. The object moves in a circle with no issues!

This trick works in both 2D and 3D.
