Adobe Media Encoder Settings

Hello everyone hope you're well. Recently I have been creating numerous project files with AE and I must say I'm enjoying every moment of it.

The thing is I'm quite new when it comes to rendering. I have quite powerful desktop pc and want to use it fully.

I have the following specs:-
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1
CPU - Intel Core i7 4770K @ 3.50GHz
RAM - 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Motherboard - ASUS Z87-PRO
Graphics - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 3071MB

On AE under, "Memory & Multiprocessing" it states the following information:-
Installed RAM: 15.9GB
RAM reserved for other applications: 5GB
RAM shared by AE & Adobe Media Encoder: 10.9GB

Everything else on that section are "Uncheck"

Can someone please tell me if everything has been setup to its full potential.
Surely there's room for improvement?

Thanks

Oh, there might be a tweak or two you could make, but unfortunately, we don't know which version of After Effects you have.

There is. If multiprocessing is not checked, you are not exploiting the multiple cores your CPU has very well.

Per the recommended starting settings, I'd adjust your RAM reserved for other applications to 6 GB. I'd enable multiprocessing (definitely for the render queue, possibly for RAM previews), and set the minimum allocation per background CPU to at least 2 GB, probably 3.

Hello Walter thanks for you response. I've adjusted the settings as you recommended.

Enabled "Multiprocessing" let's hope rendering time is improved.
Also, RAM reserved for other application has been set at 5GB as at times I don't use any powerful software's, only Sony Vegas at times.
