Hi everyone

Most of us know that the in-built camera tracker in After Effects is pretty bad for fast and shaky shots, so I am currently wanting to buy The Foundry's 3D CameraTracker Plugin. There are three different options on The Foundry's website to purchase the plugin: Node-Locked, Floating and Render. I am currently interested in the "Render" option as it is a fifth of the price of the Node-Locked version.

Does the "Render" version enable the user to access the GUI and features of the Node-Locked/Floating licenses? And what are the other restrictions of the Render version?

Many thanks :)

A render license is for render only (as on a render farm). You cannot use the GUI to actually start the track.

Node-locked licenses are particular to a specific machine.

Floating licenses can run on any computer in your network. A license server is also required.

Thanks for the quick response!
So that's why the render version is so cheap.
Also can I transfer a Node-Locked license to another computer if my current one breaks?
