Rolling Shutter Repair and Warp Stabilizer

Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to After Effects and I have some issues with rolling shutter and jello.

I've found loads of videos on how to use the rolling shutter repair and warp stabiliser effect BUT, I'm currently on location in Kenya, and camping so the internet is pretty dire. We can't stream videos or download anything.
I also can't seem to find any help topics that are just text and not video.

If it's possible at all could someone help me out with how best to use these effects?

Firstly, we're filming on R3D, and using FCP 7 (I know, I know - not my decision, I only just joined)... And so they've been editing with proxy QT files at Prores 422.
Anyway, some of the footage we have has rolling shutter issues. Mostly pretty noticeable on the lightening shots we have.

Secondly, we have jello issues with some aerial footage that we filmed too.

Which is the best way to fix both and how do I go about it?
If you need more information then please do ask.

Your help would be MEGA appreciated.

Thank you

Throw some clips at Warp Stabilizer and experiment. It's hard to know what to suggest specifically because we don't know your footage. Keep in mind, Warp Stabilizer can do some amazing things to repair some pictures, but it can't perform miracles.

I have actually been told that the rolling shutter repair is even better on iMovie than on FCP7. The results I have seen were actually quite impressive. They said they pulled the clip into iMovie repaired the shutter roll and the exported the clip back out to use with FCP 7.
