I'm planning to buy a laptop and would like to share comments on this with more people. It is going to be my main workstation I should say.
I want PC. Motion graphics, rendering and smooth video editing.Adobe and After Effects, and Avid.
I've read many good reviews on Dell Precision 4700 and that has a very good performance but my main doubt is that it doesn't come with a GTX.
What do you think?
Dell Precision M4800 Mobile Workstation:
Intel® Core™ i7-4900MQ (2,80 GHz, caché de 8 M, actualizable a la tecnología Intel vPro™)
16 GB6 DDR3L a 1600 MHz
Unidad de estado sólido Serial ATA 2.5" 256GB
Tarjeta de vídeo
NVIDIA® Quadro® K2100M w/2GB GDDR5
I think it is not possible to purchase 32 Gb with this Dell model.
May I recommend you keep a lookout for the updated Razer Pro (http://www.razerzone.com). Yes the smaller laptop has a much better screen and graphics card to help with that so your interest may lie with the non pro ver.
But I will agree with your current choice, I have had the older M6500 for a couple of years and its worked a treat (apart from a track pad issue).
