Hey guys,
I just saw your tutorial and had to try this out

but somehow AE CS6 doesn't give me this "Live Photoshop 3D" checkmark as seen at 5:04 in the video. I have heard that Adobe removed this feature after CS5 again. So do you have any other ideas how to import 3D objects like 3ds-files into AE?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Cheers,
Marius

Checkout Element 3D.

https://www.videocopilot.net/products/element/

You can import your 3ds or cinema4D files to Element 3D and get them in After Effects (:

I was hoping to find some kind of work around that's free, but element 3D actually looks like the best choice, indeed.
