Extending all compositions within the a project

Hi there,

Long time user and first time poster :D

I have a quick question to which I think I know the answer too already.

Is there any way that you can extend the lengths of all the comps in a project without having to go into the comp settings and change them all individually?

If not, does any one know of a script/add-on for this.

Many thanks,

James

You can select all layers in a composition and extend all of them at the same time (Layer > Time > Time Stretch), but some overlapping would occur.

You could also add all of those layers to a new composition and extend that one, this would fix the overlapping.

But I'm guessing what you mean is, extending multiple composition directly on the Project panel. For this, you can use a script from http://www.crgreen.com/aescripts/ called Selected_Comps_Changer.jsx, located almost at the bottom.

You'll be able to modify the settings for all selected compositions at once (duration, framerate, size).

Hope this helps.

Fernando, Thank you for the quick response.

You guessed correctly, again, thank you for the link too! This has made my day.

Kind regards,

James
