How do I switch splitted clips from one video?
on Feb 10, 2014 at 7:20:34 pm

So I splitted one clip and each of the splitted clips are from 2 different moments. But I can't switch from one to another.

It's only playing from one splitted clip. And I have no idea how to switch. Any help?

Sorry, Zach, but I can't understand what you're asking. What do you mean by "I can't switch from one to another?"

Sorry, I was kinda typing without thinking. I had 1 video and I had splitted it into 2 clips. I can't play one of the clips (which is suppose to play at another time in the video). It keeps playing the other clip instead of the one that's edited.

You have Twixtor applied -- are you sure that your speed parameters there aren't causing this?

You could precompose the two split clips to make their timing a little more obvious.

By the end of the clip, its back on 100 speed

[Zach Garza] "By the end of the clip, its back on 100 speed"

When you keyframe speed, it's easy to lose track of the actual frame you're on.

If you have a 100-frame clip and Twixtor it, setting a speed keyframe of 50% at frame 0, another speed keyframe of 50% at frame 50, and a speed keyframe of 100% at frame 99, your Twixtored frame 99 will show your original frame 62, not your original frame 99.

You'll get a better sense of the clip boundaries as you're working with Twixtor if you precompose and trim the precomps' durations to match the clips.
