Rendering issues, advice? CS6
by Robert Smith on Jan 31, 2014 at 1:20:21 am
I'm preparing many video clips to be used in sony vegas. I can't seem to find the right render settings, they all end up being too big, low quality, or buggy.
These clips are all:
data rate 21072kbps
audio bitrate 101kbps @48kHz
If I rendered all of these with lossless codecs I would be looking at over a terabyte of data.
I've tried many different settings with no luck, is there a addon codec I could use? Am I doing something wrong?

57 frames per second? That's... strange. Are you sure that's right?
You might consider rendering to a lightly-compressed format. DNxHD, ACV-Intra100, QuickTime/Photo-JPEG might all be options -- though I can't speak to Vegas support.
