Is there a way to suppress the missing footage warning?
I need to move a whole folder of linked elements, which hopefully will be re-detected once I re-link one of them. However, AE wants to warn me about every single one immediately after it detects the move.

If this isn't already there, some sort of "Skip additional warnings for this session" would be helpful.

You move the footage to the new location; putting it in the same folder will help immensely.
You suffer through all the missing footage messages when you open the project for the first time.
You pick a piece of footage in the new location in the AE project window.
You double-click on the missing file, navigate to the new location, and double-click on the file in that new location.

AE finds the rest of the footage that is in the same folder in the new location.

Repeat the process for other missing footage items in different storage folders.

I guess the lesson to be learned is to be wise where you store footage in the first place.

Dave, are you just trying to keep your face in the top bar? ;)

Seriously, though, thanks for feeling my pain. You've had a wealth of advice over the years.

I'm familiar with the process. I'm looking for a way to suppress the warning.
