I went to import an image from my iPhone that I had dragged off of the iPhone using Preview. Preview displays it as right side up but after importing into AE, it is upside down. I am importing dozens upon dozens of pictures for a stop-motion project so this is a pretty big deal and will add lots of time to the process if not fixed. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Although this is the first I've heard of it, it seems to be a pretty common issue when pictures are shot using the volume up button:

Hmmm, how strange... Good to know. I'm 80% sure I didn't use that button but, I'll double check and try it again. Thanks for the advice!

If--and that's the big if--you have access Light Room you could do an import, select all the images and flip them.

I was just playing with the iPhone and wile you can flip individual images you don't seem to be able to select a group and do the same.

Tobias -

It shouldn't be a problem, once you have all our images in AE, to select them all, and then Scale them all at once (after unlocking the x/y link) by then setting the y scale to -100 percent. This will flip them top to bottom.

You should rotate 180°. If you flip on the Y-axis you'll get behavior like a mirror, right and left will be switched.
