Editing keyframes after I've added an expression selector?
on Oct 4, 2013 at 4:22:39 pm

I was unable to find anything while searching this, so here's my quick question:

After animating the range selector for a text animation, I wanted to add a simple bounce expression. So from what I've learned, I need to add the expression selector, and then delete the range selector. works great! But now what if I need to edit my keyframes? is there an easy way to do this or possibly add the expression without deleting my keyframes. Thanks!!

Which property(s) are the keyframes on? How many keyframes are there in total. On which keyframes would you like to have the bounce in effect?

- It is typically position, scale, or rotation.

- there are usually only 2 keyframes for the text amination property, the Start and End.

I'm still unclear what you want to do. If you want both the 'normal' Range Selector and the Expression Selector to work together then it's quite likely that the ideal solution is something closer to using 2 (or more) normal Range Selectors.

Anyway, you can use both the Expression and Range Selectors by setting the normal Range Selector's Mode (within the Advanced section) to either Subtract or Intersect.
