Hey guys, I have spent a lot of time trying to figure it out and nothing seemed to work so far.
I am working on a animation involving red crosses turning into green checkmarks.
I have precomposed the layer with the transition in it.
Then I have used this composition as a texture for particular.
The problem is, my client wants the transition (red to green) to happen one by one.
However, if I change the time sampling in texture to anything else but "current", the animation does not seem
to occur anymore.
The farthest I have been able to get is to use "time remapping", however I haven't found a way to animate it,
it just works if I physically drag the keyframe across the timeline.

For particle "Time Sampling" try using the "Start at Birth and Play Once" option. You will have to create your particle precomps the same length as your particle life. But then the particles will change to check marks in order of how they were born.
