I would like to add an Overlay very much like a Video Game Score... Which increments by 1 and plays a fun sound effect every time this "Treasure-Hunt" type movie finds another gem.
The movie has a couple thousand of these points, where the Score needs to be incremented, and a sound effect played-- in a fun-looking digital counter in the Top-Left corner.
I'm assuming there's a way to easily script this in AE-- so that all I'd have to do is place a Keyframe (with said script), at every point in the movie where I want the Score to increase and the sound effect to be played.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Has anyone done this before already?
It might be easiest to place the sound effect manually by copying it once and pasting it at each scoreboard increment.
