I would like to be able to have the colors in these cells swap at a random time interval, i.e., red to blue, back to red and then have this process loop in a 30 min comp.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Ok, I found an expression that works in this thread: http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/227/21900

What I've done is put the tint effect on a layer, changed the map to colors to the color I want to change to, keyframed the tint amount to 0% on the first frame and 100% on the 12th frame and added the above referenced expression to the tint amount

Now the next issue is: the cells and the silhouettes that occupy them are two different layers. How can I link them so that they randomly change together.

Thanks for looking!

LOL, just figured it out... pick whip the expressions in the two layers together! Thanks for letting me think out loud.
