Hey all, so I've got a question. I'm running Adobe After Effects CS6 and I have a peculiar issue. On the side, I have a hobby making video game movies which is fine and all, but the Heads Up Display tends to cause major issues when it comes to 3D tracking; it almost invariably resolves in failed camera solves. Right now I have a very poor workaround where I film the same scene twice, one with the HUD on and one with the HUD off but I'd really like to understand how to use 3D Tracking more effectively.

Any and all help will be greatly, greatly appreciated :)

I believe you just delete the tracking points that confuse the track. Either that, or maybe mask out the areas of the HUD which are confusing the track?
