Non linear stretch plugin

Hi, does anyone know a plugin or tool to dynamic stretch 4:3 footage to 16:9 for Windows, Premiere pro / After effects. Like this one: http://www.noiseindustries.com/blog/freebies/elastic-aspect-plugin-fcp-prem...

GoPro's production artist Abe Kislevitz refers to it as "the anamorphic 16:9 dynamic stretch tricks" They use it all the time when they shoot 1440 POV.

If you already know about a tool that does the job for you, is there any reason not to use it? I.E. do you need an alternative for some reason?

The plugin from Noise Industries is only for MAC OS X, unfortunately I'm on Windows.

You can use the Mesh Warp (under Distort) to achieve a similar result. Create as many columns (just one row) as you need to be able to control the areas of the image you want to stretch.

It's quite simple, once you take a look I'm sure you can figure it out. It basically can do the same thing as the plugin you referred to but you have to adjust the points manually. One row and no less than 3 columns. With 3 you can keep the center unaffected and stretch the sides. You will need to play with the handles as well to adjust the stretch (keep Shift pressed as you click and drag a handle to keep it horizontal)
