I've been lately trying to drawing animation:
-scanned real drawings imported do afx etc..
-revealing them by mask using PAINT TOOL
-trying to add hand with pen for imitation of drawing process

I though I would easily convert my brush path to NULL position and attach composition with hand animation, but converting a path to motion seems a problem.: each path is very complex, so using paste method gave me 2s of animation with hundreds of keyframes between frames...
my afx got serious problem calculating it freezing all the time.

Tried to reduce them with method found here:
-converted from roving, converted to bezier spatial, used smoother -finally I had path not fitting at all(maybe due to fact that null is in 3D space or maybe because converting keyframes to bezier destoryed originall path), but calculating it tooked around 3mins (for 3s of original animation).

My question is: any idea/script/etc for proper reducion of keyframes between frames?

Second question is:
How to use existing paint tool path to animate object along them? Or maybe any other idea for the problem.

(help is needed badly, because got 6,5min of this animation)
