Description = The scene has just some 2D pictures (converted to 3D) distributed in 3D space. The camera should move doing simple pans around them. The pans or camera paths are not linear, but a mix of x, y and z, as in any regular TV show (i.e., rounded paths in 3D space showing musicians of a band, one by one). Problem = I'm not being able to stop the camera for some seconds focusing an image. I've tried "Toggle hold" keyframes, followed by normal linear keyframes but, after the path is set, the camera doesn't stop at that place; it keeps going. Not only that; the previous set camera path becomes altered (the spacial curves of the camera paths are altered). What should I do? Thank you!

If I'm understanding what you're saying it sounds like you need to keyframe the anchor point as well as the position of your camera. Hope that helps.

Hi Ryan, I didn't find the camera anchor point, maybe because I have sought only superficially, but your tip was valuable anyway, because I used also a null, which has anchor point, to drive a camera. Thank you!

I use a series of Nulls as described here:

In addition, you can precomp all and time remap the precomp to adjust the animation.

That sounds complex for a guy coming from 2D rigs; complex, but very interesting, now that I've got the golden egg (golden null!) of the trick of animating a parented camera. I will try to puzzle that throught trial and error. Thank you!
