You need a dual partitioned hard drive that will read both Mac and windows. Then you can drag and drop a QuickTime or .mov file into your PC.

My suggestion is to install some software on each of your computers that let them read/write their non-native partitions.

I use Tuxera NTFS on all my Macs, and I use MediaFour MacDrive on all my PCs. With these applications installed, any computer in the shop can read and write to any hard disk that I have or that may come in the door.

In a controlled environment it works but for the director that doesn't know tech and hands me his HD and asks for a copy of the video. It has to be easy for him to understand.

Once you install those applications, they work seamlessly. PC drives work in Finder just like Mac drives, Mac drives work in Explorer just like PC drives.

Just another option to consider.
