Rendering with Transparency (After Affects CS6)
on May 21, 2013 at 10:39:03 am

Good Day,

I've recently attempted to render something in After Effects CS6, but it requires that I have transparency in the background and not a black background.

When I'm trying to render it, I'm rendering it in Lossless format and I do state that it should render with RGB + Alpha. The Toggle Transparency grid is on so I'm not seeing the black background, but once I finished rendering it, the black background is there.

Could anyone please help me out in this matter? I really need to finish rendering this thing, but this issue is holding me back.

Thanks in advance

How are you viewing the output to check for alpha?

Try using "Lossless with Alpha" instead of "Lossless" or make sure that your depth is set to "Millions of Colors+" instead of just "Millions of Colors."
