Hey,
Whats the best technique to change the colour of these and keep the lighting effects? I need to make them Dark Green, Red, and Navy.

By "these" I presume you are referring to visual elements which would be best described if you posted a still - otherwise we have no idea what "they" are...

From what I read on the source website they come in PNG sequences with alpha- that means that you have control over the ribbons only. It's just applying a Hue/Saturation and tweaking the color... I may not understand your issue but this seems pretty straight forward.
