Hi there , im a filmaking begginer , why you edit your clips on adobe premier and then bring it to after effects? I dont understand , you can do everything on after effects! Can please someone help me ? Thanks ; )
Premiere and After Effects solve different problems.
Premiere edits; that is, it arranges clips in time. After Effects composites; that is, it arranges clips in space. Of course there is some overlap in functionality, but they have complementary strengths and weaknesses.
Why not edit in Ae? A couple of big reasons -- it's not built for real-time performance, and it doesn't have an editorial timeline or toolset.
